The current module introduces third year EFL students to academic writing and its styles. More specifically, these
lessons seek to shed the light on writing the different types of essays, their components, characteristics, and the
organisation. Throughout this course, students will apply this knowledge to write an essay following an academic
style. Thereafter, the lectures gradually moves from addressing the basic elements of an essay to practicing
advanced English writing. Hence, students will develop their writing skills for their future academic achievements.
