المقياس عبارة عن مجموعة محاضرات موجهة لطلبة ماستر2 تخصص فلسفة تطبيقية، حول الفكر البيواتيقي ومستقبل الانسان، حيث يعالج مجموعة من الإشكاليات التي تصب في اطار الأخلاقيات وعلاقتها بالعلوم الحيوية، خاصة مجالي الطب والبيولوجيا، بدءا بالوقوف على أهم المفاهيم الجوهرية في المقياس كالبيواتيقا والأخلاق التطبيقية والبيولوجيا، مرورا بالجذور التاريخية والمرجعية الفكرية لأخلاقيات الطب والبيولوجيا، أي مايتعلق بنشأة هذا الفرع الجديد من العلوم وأسباب ظهوره.

من جهة أخرى وفي نفس السياق ننتقل للحديث عن البيواتيقا في علاقتها ببعض العلوم الأخرى كالفلسفة، خاصة وأن الفكر البيواتيقي ذو صلة وثيقة بالأكسيولوجيا، فإذا كان العلم لا يلتفت الى مخلفاته وآثاره على البشرية فإن من واجب الفلسفة أن تصوّبه وتقوّمه إستنادا إلى مرجعيات فكرية تنبثق أساسا من روح المجتمع والإنسانية. بالإضافة الى علاقة البيواتيقا بالدين وموقف هذا الأخير من الممارسات البيولوجية التي تمس الكائن الحي والانسان بصورة خاصة، وعلاقتها بالقانون بابراز ماأفرزته قرارات المنظمات العالمية في سياقها القانوني تجاه المشكلات الأخلاقية الناجمة عن التدخلات الطبية والبيولوجية حول الانسان . لننتقل بعد ذلك لمعالجة أهم إشكالية في المقياس وهي تلك التي تتعلق بمصير الانسان في ظل التسارع العلمي والثورة البيولوجية المعاصرة وموقف فرانسيس فوكوياما من ذلك من خلال مشروع الجينوم البشري.

The scale is a set of lectures addressed to students of master2 specialization applied philosophy, about bioethics thought and the future of Man, where it addresses a set of problems that flow into the framework of ethics and its relationship with the biosciences, especially the fields of Medicine and biology, starting with identifying the most fundamental concepts in the scale such as bioethics, Applied Ethics and biology, passing through the historical roots and intellectual reference of medical ethics and biology, that is, related to the emergence of this new branch of Science and the reasons for its emergence. On the other hand, in the same context, we move on to talk about biology in relation to some other sciences, such as philosophy, especially since biological thought is closely related to Axiology.if science does not pay attention to its consequences and effects on humanity, then philosophy has the duty to correct and establish it based on intellectual references that emanate mainly from the spirit of society and humanity. In addition to the relationship of biology with religion and the latter's position on biological practices that affect the organism and humans in particular, and its relationship with the law to highlight the decisions of international organizations in their legal context regarding the ethical problems caused by medical and biological interventions around humans . Let's move on next to addressing the most important problem in the scale, which is related to the fate of man in light of the scientific acceleration and the contemporary biological revolution and Francis Fukuyama's position on this through the Human Genome Project.
