يهدف المقياس إلى تعريف طلبة السنة الثانية إعلام و اتصال  بمختلف القضايا الوطنية و الدولية الراهنة من أجل تعزيز معارفهم ومساعدتهم على التحليل و التفسير ،وتعتبر هذه السلسلة من المحاضرات نافذة على ما يحدث داخل الوطن وخارجه وما يحدث في العالم بأسره،وقد تم الوقوف على أهم القضايا المطروحة من أجل الانخراط في الحوار الفكري والعلمي من خلال معالجة أهم قضايا المجتمع والعالم في هذا العصر ، من عولمة الظواهر ، واسباب الصراعات ....كما يمكن للطالب أن يبحث في الأسباب من خلال السؤال و التفسير أن يتخذ من هذه المواضيع عناوين للمذكرات مستقبلا.
