منهج التحقيق هو: 1-النـص، التعليق عليه، المقدمة، الفهارس 2 تقديم نصوص مختارة تتمثل فيها مقاصد التحقيق. 3- تحقيق نماذج من مخطوطات تمثل عصورا مختلفة.

المنهجية التحقيقية هي عبارة عن مزيج من الممارسات والإجراءات والعمليات والروتين والاتفاقيات والنظريات والتقنيات التي تستخدمها الشرطة للاستجابة للجريمة .
