General Objectives of the Lectures:

Through these Lectures, we aim to achieve the following:

• Introduce students to scientific research.
• Explain the objectives of scientific research.
• Highlight the importance of scientific research.
• Familiarize students with the different types of scientific research.
• Teach students how to collect and process data for scientific research.
• Instruct students on how to write a graduation thesis correctly.
• Guide students on preparing the presentation file for the defense and the key points to focus on during the discussion of their thesis.

Prerequisite Knowledge:

Students are expected to be familiar with some of the scientific research methodology concepts acquired during their first or second year of undergraduate studies.

Target Audience:

The target audience for these Lectures is second-year master's students specializing in Service marketing.

Allocated Time:

The scheduled instructional time is 21 hours.

• Section 1: Fundamental Concepts of Scientific Research
• Section 2: Scientific Knowledge, Science, the Scientific Method, and Research Sources
• Section 3: Steps in Conducting Scientific Research
• Section 4: Structuring the Thesis Following the IMRAD Method
• Section 5: Techniques for Organizing and Formatting (Page Layout, Fonts, Numbering, Tables, and Figures)
• Section 6: Writing Techniques (Punctuation Marks, Citations, Footnotes, References Organization)
• Section 7: Overview of Data Processing Methods (Questionnaires, Econometric Models)
• Section 8: How to Present the Thesis on the Defense Day

ABSTRACT:

The results that are reached thanks to scientific research are originally results that resulted from following the sound scientific method in preparing research, and had it not been for following the appropriate steps, the researchers would not have been able to reach useful and practical results, but perhaps those results will cause disasters if they are applied and work Therefore, researchers must adhere to the various rules of scientific research in order for there to be a benefit resulting from the results that they can reach.

In order to clarify the various rules of scientific research for students, these Lectures came as a guide and guide for second-year master students in Algerian universities in general, and in economics faculties in particular, to introduce the scientific foundations that should be followed or taken into account during conducting scientific research in the field of economic sciences.

ملخص:

إن النتائج المثمرة التي يتم التوصل إليها بفضل البحث العلمي هي في الأصل نتائج قد تمخضت عن إتباع المنهج العلمي السليم في إعداد البحوث، ولولا إتباع الخطوات المناسبة لما استطاع الباحثون التوصل إلى نتائج مفيدة وعملية، بل ربما ستتسبب تلك النتائج في كوارث إذا ما تم تطبيقها والعمل بها، لهذا على الباحثين التقيد بمختلف قواعد البحث العلمي لكي تكون هناك منفعة ناجمة عن تلك النتائج التي يمكن أن يتوصلوا إليها.

ولأجل توضيح مختلف قواعد البحث العلمي للطلبة، جاءت هذه الدروس  كدليل ومرشد لطلبة السنة ثانية ماستر في الجامعات الجزائرية بشكل عام، وفي كليات الاقتصاد بشكل خاص للتعريف بالأسس العلمية التي ينبغي إتباعها أو مراعاتها خلال إجراء البحوث العلمية في ميدان العلوم الاقتصادية
