يشير مصطلح العلوم الاجتماعية إلى التخصصات الأكاديمية التي تهتم بالمجتمع وعلاقات الأفراد مع بعضهم داخل المجتمع وتعتمد في الأساس على مناهج محددة،  ويستخدم هنا كمصطلح شامل للإشارة إلىالتخصصات التالية: علم الاجتماع، علم الإنسان(الانثروبولوجيا)، علم النفس، علم السكان ، الفلسفة، الارطوفونيا وعلوم التربية.  لذلك سنحاول في هذا المقياس الإجابة عن التساؤلات التالية: ما هي اهم مجالات العلوم الاجتماعية ؟ ما هي مختلف النظريات المشكلة لها؟ ما هي اهم المناهج العلمية المتبعة في الدراسة؟ ماهي العلاقة الموجودة بين هذه التخصصات؟

Abstract:

The term of social sciences refer to the academic disciplines that are concerned with society and the relationships between individuals within society and depend mainly on specific method. It is used here as a term to refer to the following disciplines: Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Demography, Philosophy, Artophonia and Science Education. Therefore, we will try in this module to answer the following questions: What are the most important areas of social sciences? What are theirs various theories? What are the most important scientific approaches used in these studies? What is the relationship between these disciplines?
