Ce cours de thermodynamique appliquée est destiné aux étudiants de génie mécanique ainsi que la plupart des filières scientifiques et techniques d’enseignement supérieur. Le premier chapitre introduit notions générales de thermodynamique. Le deuxième chapitre introduit les gaz parfaits, Transformations et le 1er principe de la Thermodynamique. Le troisième chapitre développe les transformations Quasi statiques, Entropie et le 2ème principe de thermodynamique. Quant au quatrième chapitre, il concerne les Changements d’état des Corps Purs. Le cinquième chapitre est consacré aux machines thermiques. le présent cours est clôturé par le sixième chapitre qui traite la combustion. Ce cours de thermodynamique appliquée est le fruit de longues années d'enseignement et résulte de la lecture de nombreux ouvrages et documents de grande valeur.

The first chapter introduces general notions of thermodynamics. The second chapter introduces ideal gases, Transformations and the 1st Law of Thermodynamics. The third chapter develops the Quasi static transformations, Entropy and the 2nd principle of thermodynamics. As for the fourth chapter, it concerns the Changes of state of the Pure Bodies. The fifth chapter is devoted to thermal machines. this course ends with the sixth chapter which deals with combustion.
